Dave Kibler

A rare blend of musical artistry and technical production/engineering expertise. A dedicated guitar player who is equally at home singing lead or harmony, he is the one responsible for the musical/vocal arrangements and computer programming used to provide Sound Bytes with their distinctive sound.

A quick sketch of his accomplishments follows:

· During his more than 30 years of performing with top Central California bands, Dave has shared the stage with famous recording artists including The Ventures, The Romantics, Flock of Seagulls, Oingo Boingo, Dobie Gray, and many others

· He has entertained at major venues around the San Francisco area such as The Cow Palace, San Jose Center for the Performing Arts, The Keystones , Jazzbeaux Collins TV Show, Mabuhay Gardens, San Jose Civic, Tapestry In Talent, Gilroy Garlic Festival, County Fairs (Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, etc.)

· As an accomplished songwriter, singer, session player, and producer he has been involved in countless recording projects

· On stage he plays vintage or self-made guitars through a custom automated rack system producing a variety of tones that capture the guitar sounds heard on the original recordings. Dave also uses a custom-made synthesizer guitar that can replicate almost any other instrument (saxophone, organ, piano, etc.) when called for by certain tunes.
